End of Life Support,
Terminal Illness and Death Doula Services

doula.png

There are moments in life when having someone calm, present, and deeply supportive matters more than anything else. Facing terminal illness or the end of life can bring fear, uncertainty, grief, and a lot of unspoken emotions for both the individual and the people who love them.

You do not have to navigate this alone.

As an end-of-life doula, I offer compassionate, non-medical support for individuals nearing the end of life and for their families and caregivers. My role is to provide comfort, clarity, emotional support, and a steady presence during a time that can feel overwhelming and deeply personal.

What an End-of-Life Doula Does

An end-of-life doula supports the emotional, mental, and spiritual experience of dying. I do not replace medical care or hospice. I work alongside existing care teams to support the human experience that often gets overlooked.

This support may include:

  • Creating a calm and safe space for conversation, reflection, and emotional expression

  • Helping reduce fear, anxiety, and emotional distress around death and dying

  • Supporting meaningful conversations with loved ones

  • Offering presence and companionship so no one feels alone

  • Assisting with legacy work such as life review, storytelling, or memory sharing

  • Supporting family members before, during, and after the transition

Every experience is unique, and support is always tailored to what feels right for you.

How Hypnotherapy Can Support End of Life Care

Hypnotherapy can be a powerful and gentle tool during this time. It helps calm the nervous system, ease emotional distress, reduce fear, and bring a sense of peace and acceptance.

For some, hypnotherapy helps with:

  • Anxiety about dying

  • Emotional processing and unresolved fears

  • Restlessness or difficulty sleeping

  • Finding calm, clarity, and comfort

  • Feeling more at peace in the body and mind

Sessions are always gentle, respectful, and paced to meet the individual exactly where they are.

Support for Families and Loved Ones

End of life affects everyone connected to the person who is dying. Families and caregivers often carry emotional weight while trying to stay strong.

I offer support for loved ones who may be experiencing:

  • Anticipatory grief

  • Emotional overwhelm

  • Fear of letting go

  • Exhaustion or burnout

  • The desire to show up fully without knowing how

This is a space where feelings are allowed. Nothing needs to be fixed or rushed.

Every situation is unique. Because of this, I offer a sliding scale for my end of life doula services based on the level of care needed and what is financially accessible for the family. My intention is to make this support available in a way that feels fair, compassionate, and realistic.

A Gentle First Step

If you are facing terminal illness, end of life decisions, or supporting a loved one through this time, I invite you to reach out. Even one conversation can bring clarity, comfort, and relief.

This work is an honor to offer. Holding space at the end of life is about dignity, compassion, and remembering the beauty of a life lived.

Schedule a Complimentary Consultation

Choosing end-of-life or death doula support is a deeply personal decision. A complimentary consultation gives you space to ask questions, talk through what is happening, and feel into whether this support is right for you or your loved one.

This is a calm, no pressure conversation.

During our consultation, we can talk about

  • What support might be most helpful right now

  • How end of life doula care works

  • How hypnotherapy can gently support comfort and peace

  • Options for care and sliding scale availability

  • Any questions or concerns you may have

Sometimes people schedule simply to understand what support exists. Sometimes they are ready for help immediately. Both are welcome.

If you are navigating terminal illness or supporting someone you love, you do not have to figure this out alone. A short conversation can bring clarity, relief, and a sense of being held during a difficult time.
