Essential Key Hypnotherapy
Jeanene Desrosiers, CCHT
What is hypnotherapy?
Our subconscious mind is 95% of our mind.
Everything is stored here. Every experience we've ever had in our lives.
This is also where all of our beliefs, behaviors, habits, patterns, thoughts and emotions are.
Hypnosis is a very natural state where your mind can relax and then focus on reducing anxiety, calming your thoughts, and balancing your life.
We put ourselves in this state naturally several times a day. When we're starting to fall asleep, just waking up, and good ol daydreaming (those times when we feel like we "checked out" a little).
The state of hypnosis creates a direct pathway to your subconscious mind.
You are guided to a relaxed state using visualization techniques
and you'll still be aware of what's happening the entire time.
Not only does this state feel very relaxing, but when you are in hypnosis,
your inner mind is more open to change to make the positive changes that you desire.
Hypnotherapy will help overcome bad habits, and gently help free you of fears, phobias, panic, anxiety, insomnia, and depression. It can empower you to unlock your potential.
Good news...you don't have to be at your worst to be deserving of healing!
What can hypnotherapy help with?

Are limiting beliefs getting in the way of living your dream life?

Having a hard time getting clear on what you want and knowing the steps to take to get there?

Do you feel like you are on a continuous hamster wheel
of one negative situation after the other?

Do you feel stuck?

If you answered yes any to the above questions, hypnotherapy is for you.

Because of this, basically any issue can be addressed using hypnotherapy techniques.

Hypnotherapy is a gentle way to process unresolved emotions, thoughts, feelings, grief and trauma.
Sports Performance
Using hypnotherapy to improve or enhance sports performance, has the ability to help a person focus in such a way that they will not be distracted by negative thoughts or worries, and only on their best possible performance.

Hypnosis for improved athletic performance is used by many top athletes and teams and has been around for many years. Whether you are a professional athlete, or you just want to improve your focus, hypnotherapy can be very beneficial.

Hypnotherapy can dramatically improve performance, style, posture and self-confidence. Using hypnosis can even help to speed physical recovery, remove negative feelings, self-doubt, stress and anything that may hinder great performance.

In the state of hypnosis, you can also remove doubts or fears from past negative experiences. It is known that self-doubt is one of the contributors to poor performance on the day of an event. Even when everything else is done correctly, personal doubt can hurt even the best athlete’s performance. Imagination and memory are very powerful and can override reason.

Negative thoughts and self-doubt can also bring about an injury or distraction at a crucial moment.
Grief
Grief and loss are universal human experiences that touch us at some point in our lives, and they come in many forms. They encompass the emotional and psychological response to the absence of someone or something deeply cherished, often times even ourselves. While commonly associated with the death of a loved one, grief can also stem from various other losses, such as the end of a relationship, the loss of a job, the death of a beloved pet, the deterioration of one’s health, the loss of a home due to a natural disaster, or a major life change like moving away from a place you’ve called home for years.

Grief is a complex and deeply personal journey, often marked by a range of emotions, including sadness, anger, guilt, and even numbness. The process is not linear, and it doesn’t have a set timeline. Each individual’s experience is unique, influenced by their personal coping mechanisms, cultural background, and the nature of the loss.

There is no one-size-fits-all answer because people experience and cope with grief differently. Some may benefit from hypnotherapy in the early stages, like shock and denial, to help them process the initial impact of the loss and develop healthy coping strategies. Others may seek hypnotherapy later in the process when emotions like anger, guilt, or depression become overwhelming and require extra support. The key is to reach out for help when you’re ready to engage in the healing process, regardless of the specific stage you’re in.
Pregnancy Support
Starting a family can be one of life's milestones. It can also come with some challenges.

Hypnotherapy can support all stages of pregnancy. With the mind-body connection, hypnotherapy can reduce stress or anxiousness, increase restful sleep, as well as creating an environment for physical, mental and emotional wellness.

The mind and body are one, working together. When we believe in ourselves, the body responds on a physiological level. This means a positive mindset can be life-changing. This support can be for all involved.

When you get support for your mental health and emotional wellbeing alongside trying to conceive, it makes a radical difference to every aspect of your life.

-
You have the energy and capacity to cope through whatever happens
-
Your relationships improve
-
You learn skills that will last through the next chapters of your life
My Story
Hypnotherapy saved my life.

I often feel like the epitome of the comeback story.
I understand and know all too well about depression, anxiety and overwhelm. More than I ever thought was imaginable. I've had heartache, lost very important people to me, had a brain aneurysm, a brain tumor and two broken legs. Which means I know firsthand the power of hypnotherapy.

Through hypnotherapy, I was able to gently get my feet firmly planted back on the ground, settle my anxiety, panic attacks and insomnia.

I want others to experience that same magical feeling. To overcome life's obstacles. And to feel supported. Since then, I've helped people overcome anxiety, panic attacks, insomnia, grief, anger and fertility challenges. As well as improve motivation, improve confidence and self-love. All with hypnotherapy.

I am a graduate of the California School of Hypnotherapy and Certified through the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners. I am also a student of real life, results oriented and want to see everyone feel empowered to live their daily life to the fullest.

I share my story because it may help give you hope to find the light at the end of your tunnel.

Hugs and High Fives,
Jeanene
